34067 Tangmere with The
Settle & Carlisle Steam Special
(The Northern Belle)
2nd September 2023
(Carnforth - Shap - Carlisle - Appleby - Settle - Hellifield - Blackburn)
The train is seen on climb to Shap around Salterwath and Shap Wells on the West Coast Mainline
and then from Ais Gill on the S&C.
The trip started at Hull with 57313 and 57601 then reversed at York.
Steam came on at Carnforth and came off at Blackburn where the train reversed to head back to Hull
then another reverse to finish at York with the two diesels.
